The Rhea Crew
Jody's ReConnect Shop
This new crew represents a legacy. We designed it following the death of my most amazing soul-sister friend of 26 years, Rhea O'Hara, who lost her battle with cancer this year. As we walked her home these past three years, we had many conversations about what it means to be brave. The definition of brave? Doing something with your whole heart, full on, when you can't predict the outcome. It's not brave if you know how it's going to end. That was my girl, not always brave, but in all ways, she stepped into the fight with cancer full on. She didn't shrink from her children, her friends, her husband. She had the hard conversations, and in the end, she was the one who walked me home, teaching me the greatest of all lessons to date: be brave, in all ways. And the universe will take care of the rest. In fact, she has this tattooed on her right arm, to remind her in the dark moments. This sweater is designed to remind you of this also, in her honour. xo
